It has been a while since I updated this blog. I am sorry because I've been busy with my packed short semester schedule right now. Apart from that, on the weekdays and weekend I'm mainly focused on studying/finishing assignments and quizzes but no worries I still have time to eat, chill, spend my time with friends and family. Currently I'm in second year of degree, alhamdullilah everything's went well & my results also are ok. I'm happy with that because i really work hard for myself huhu but you know sometimes you need to chill your mind & don't stress too much.
I've been thinking that why not I go for short getaway during this short semester ? Since short semester has 7 weeks and 2 months of short semester break. This year, I've never been to anywhere so i really need ultimate freedom and relaxation soon. You guys also should treat yourself ok. Well, i used to see an advertisement of Traveloka almost everywhere, dekat tv, brochure, exhibition and booth as well. They're good with marketing and sales. No wonder people keep on talking about it hehe. Besides that i liked their mission, it says that "make traveling simple and more compelling". This travel platform actually is for booking flight and make a reservation hotel. It is user friendly and also easy to navigate through.
If I'm lucky to win this blogging contest, I would like to go to Melaka because I think Melaka is the best place for relaxing by river cruise, night walk (Jonker street), with beautiful environment, good foods and many more. I found Melaka is an attractive place to visit since it is historical city. I've been to Melaka with family for two times, unfortunately we had not discovered all the places yet.
Melaka is well known with their excellent cuisine. They have traditional Chinese cuisine such as Nyonya. People who came to Melaka loves to eat "asam pedas". Next, night market along Jonker Walk is the main tourist street. There's many vendors selling lot of things from Henna tattoos, antique stuffs and many more. Oh besides that Melaka has the beautiful "Melaka River". I've been there in night to capture beautiful water reflections. Trust me, it's so beautiful. I would really love if I can spend a night to capture Melaka's streets again. Besides that, if I'm not mistaken, Melaka is known with the trendy art shops because I've seen lot of tiny shops selling souvenirs which locally made. I found Melaka is charming destination to visit, it's just rich with history.
